There are times when a person is waiting to receive the medical supplies they need. This issue can cause them to spend money they don't have. Here is where the non-profit comes in to help, and we use donations to help assist those in need of these supplies. Why providing a healthy food option for this community is vital. In 2019, 5.2 million seniors aged 60+ faced hunger. That's 1 in 14 seniors or 7.1% of all seniors. 63% of seniors visiting food banks say they have to choose between food and medical care. Many seniors starve and go without healthy food options. This issue impacts their quality of life for them.

 

We want to do our part by providing fruit boxes; the idea is for every $5 we receive, a box will be made and given to an elderly individual. We also encourage all home care, home health, and residential living companies to sign up their clients to receive a monthly fresh fruit box.

 

We may be somewhat of a new non-profit, but we have decades of experience within this community. We also have some of the most passionate people in our organization to push these initiatives. We believe that we will reach millions in the seniors and disabled community.
